Our Children's Future
Starts Now

We want to promote independence through employment. One way to provide this is through our subsidized child care program which provides financial assistance towards the cost of licensed child care for parents who qualify. Quality and affordable child care is important to every parent

Plan to apply for subsidized child care well in advance of when you require assistance, as there may be a waiting list for funding. This support is available to working parents, self-employed parents, students and households with special needs. Child care assistance is available only for the days/hours that you are working or attending classes, tutorials or labs. All aspects of your financial situation will be considered when eligibility is being determined and you will be required to provide current proof of all assets, income and expenses. Fees are calculated taking into account your household income and household size.
